As announced by the HKSAR Government, the tuition fee for both full-time and part-time MPhil/PhD studies will be HK$44,500 for 2025/26 academic year and be adjusted to HK$47,000 for 2026/27 and HK$49,500 for 2027/28.
The HKSAR Government has introduced the Tuition Waiver Scheme for Local Research Postgraduate Students. Please visit fytgs.hkust.edu.hk/funding for details.

All full-time MPhil/PhD students are automatically considered for the Postgraduate Studentship. No separate application is required.

Please settle the application fee online by credit card (Visa or MasterCard) and other payment methods available in the respective Online Admission System. If you don’t have a credit card, you can use a third-party credit card upon the cardholder’s consent.
