I’ve been enjoying my studies at HKUST very much. Different from my home university, HKUST offers me ample opportunities to engage in learning the latest research topics. Thanks to the Asian Future Leaders Scholarship, I have been given a chance to join a summer camp to learn and exchange ideas with talents around the globe in Beijing this year. I am also excited about my life in Hong Kong.  I enjoy local food like dim sum and have started to explore Chinese history while I am here.

HKUST is a haven for students passionate about learning and research. I am particularly glad to get industry exposure through the University. The project I am handling involves an industry partner such that I can conceptualize product designs that are both innovative and practical. HKUST also provides studentship to relieve research students from financial worries so that they can focus on their research.

HKUST is an ideal place for research work. It has excellent facilities as well as world-class research professionals. The beautiful campus makes the school life very enjoyable. And thanks for the HK PhD Fellowship Scheme, it has largely reduced my financial pressures to pursue my PhD studies in Hong Kong. It gives me great flexibility to choose my research topic. Also, it provides me with unique opportunities to network with outstanding people at HKUST and other universities through the events organized by the University and the Research Grants Council.
