• For application to the MPhil/PhD in Individualized Interdisciplinary Program (Research Area), you are required to form a research team, which is composed of at least two faculty members working on different research areas to warrant that the research is interdisciplinary in nature.

• Applicants may submit separate applications for PhD and MPhil and would be required to settle the application fee for each application. Should you have enquiries about the selection requirements, you may wish to contact the Department.

• Applicants seeking admission are required to fulfill requirements of the University and for respective programs of HKUST.
