HKUST Fok Ying Tung Graduate School (FYTGS) launched the “Lunch with the Dean” Series in the Fall term, 2025-26.

Nearly 170 postgraduate (PG) students attended four lunches from September to November 2025. Participants came from all four Schools and the AIS, both research and taught postgraduate programs, different cultural backgrounds, and from many geographical regions, including the United States, Germany, Bangladesh, Vietnam, the Philippines, Thailand, the Chinese Mainland, and Hong Kong.

The lunch series provided a unique opportunity for students to connect not only with the Acting Dean and the FYTGS staff, but also with their fellow PG students. Students shared their academic aspirations and learnt from one another’s experiences, making it a truly enriching gathering.

The “Lunch with the Dean” Series will recommence in the Spring term, 2025-26. Stay tuned for more details! We look forward to seeing you there!
