Being part of the AFLSP community has provided numerous opportunities to connect with peers from East Asia and Southeast Asia. Learning about their unique experiences and bonding over different cuisines has enriched my postgraduate journey beyond just academics. During seminars and informal gatherings, we were able to share and discuss our cross-cultural views on common topics within Asia today. The journey has been fulfilling and I am thankful to be part of the AFLSP community. I look forward to connecting and continuing such conversations with my fellow scholars in the year ahead!
