Pursuing PhD studies in Hong Kong is definitely a great experience for me. Hong Kong is close to mainland China, which is a good place for environmental studies. In addition, HKUST offers me lots of opportunities to attend workshops and courses, making my studies more interesting. Living in Hong Kong has also enriched my understanding of Chinese culture. It has been an eye-opening experience for me so far.
