After graduating from BSc in Environmental Management and Technology (EVMT), I worked for a few years in the field of environmental technology. With a chance, I returned to HKUST for MPhil in Environmental Science, Policy and Management (ESPM). Getting back to UST is an amazing experience. The Academy and Department provide support and countless opportunities that allow me to explore personal potential while doing earnest research. I have high autonomy in designing the research plan and milestones together with my supervisor.

Being a member of the HKUST really has opened a new chapter in my life. I have been introduced to new areas of interest and equipped with knowledge and skills. My vision of possibilities has broadened and I have developed what I hope will be lifelong friendships. The experience of studying at HKUST has allowed me to challenge myself, explore my interests, see what the possibilities are and to see what I can achieve.

HKUST's success story is an inspiration to me. HKUST provides me with the resources I need to grow and become a well-rounded person. In my first two years of study at HKUST, I have enjoyed the international exposure provided by the HKUST and attended forums/ conferences in countries such as South Korea, Turkey, and Mainland China. This is a world-class university, so I am being trained to be a world-class student, capable of embracing all sorts of real life challenges after graduation.

HKUST is a world-class university where you can meet people from different backgrounds and conduct high quality research at the well-equipped research facilities. There are abundant conference opportunities for RPg students. As well, research travel grants provide financial support for students to broaden their horizons and connect with researchers in different countries. Apart from studying, you can also have fun on campus: there are many sports facilities that we can use in our leisure time. Besides, Hong Kong offers plenty of interesting places to visit and delicious food to eat.
