Langston SUEN

My research at HKUST focused mainly on ultrasound technology for eye drug delivery applications. While there, I published articles in several high-impact journals and presented at numerous international conferences. In addition, a US patent was granted based on my research findings. In 2014, I founded Sonikure Technology Ltd to transform my research into a marketable medical device. I have received business competition awards at local, regional and global levels. Other high-profile accolades for Sonikure include winning a 2016 IET Innovation Award in the healthcare category, recognition as a Google Solve for X "Moonshot" project and being named one of the Kairos Society's Top 50 Global Startups.
